It is always interesting to examine successful corporations and how they adapt to the external changes in the environment. A corporation such as Dell Computers is one typical example that is well recognized for its dynamics and its openness for new ideas. As a result, Dell has become one of the most admired Fortune 500 companies. Dell’s market response and culture shaped the organization to become leaders in the computer industry. Attracting and retaining talented employees are crucial ingredients for success. Moreover, managers must have the desire and motivation to lead others in order to implement and maintain unbeaten momentum within an organization.
Corporations must identify and create value added products and services for their customers, therefore, skilled and motivated employees are essential for this purpose. Although attracting talented and capable individuals is a challenge in itself, these individuals will become attracted to work with successful corporations, and as a result this will increase a firm’s opportunity to select competent and motivated leaders.
