Survey Action Plans
The survey results must be communicated in order to have an impact throughout the organization. The responses must be analyzed in order to identify areas for improvement. Survey results not only surface the barriers that exist in the organization but it also points to areas that are working well. The positives and the negatives need to be explored in order to understand the entire organizational picture.
Action must be taken by management in order to implement change in the workplace. When unresolved issues are not addressed, the employee morale will decline. When management acts on the responses; the employees believe in the survey as an effective tool to implement change. The employees will value the survey because they had the ability to voice their concerns and experience first hand the remove of barriers.
The survey is an effective instrument that exposes underlying issues that occur in the workplace. Once the causes are identified, then management must take the necessary actions plans in order to correct the issues. By doing so, it will remove any unwanted obstacles and create a more productive organization.
